The NZF Junior Level3 course is designed for coaches within the advanced youth context. The objective of the course is to support coaches with their coaching and understanding of the Skill Acquisition Phase of development. This is a 3 day course and has a mix of theory, practical and E-learning modules.
The modules will be linked directly to our Professional Coaches Model and related to the 5 key areas within that:
- Football Knowledge
- Training
- Match
- Management/Leadership
- Vision & Philosophy
Candidates will be challenged to critically analyse their coaching practice and seek ways to develop their coaching practice to suit their context.
On the completion of all course tasks, including a final assessment, the coach will be awarded the NZF Junior Level 3 Qualification and gain 100 Continual Professional Development (CPD) accreditation points.
This course will take approximately 3 months minimum to complete.
