The OFC Goalkeeping C Licence course is designed for coaches taking their first step on the advanced pathway for goalkeeping. The course will cover development from junior-youth-senior goalkeeping. 

The objective of the course is to support coaches with exposing their coaching practice to methods, strategies and frameworks to best support their goalkeepers and working with other staff by: 

  1. Understand yourself and your goalkeepers better in order to improve
  2. Understand and apply fundamental principles of goalkeeper development at appropriate age and stages
  3. To successfully evaluate goalkeeper match performance in order to plan appropriate sessions to improve performance
  4. Understand the importance of the coaching process and the application of key coaching principles.

This is a 5 day course and has a mix of theory, practical and E-learning modules. 

Candidates will be challenged to critically analyse their coaching practice and seek ways to evolve their coaching practice within their current context.

On the completion of all course tasks, including a final assessment, the coach will be awarded the OFC Goalkeeping C Licence and gain 100 Continual Professional Development (CPD) accreditation points.
